Sean Mannix: Sean Mannix is a law enforcement veteran with 36 years of dedicated service in public safety. Throughout his career, he held several leadership positions, including Assistant Chief of Police in Austin and Chief of Police in Cedar Park, Texas. He focused on improving policing practices, enhancing training programs, and strengthening community relations. Following his retirement in 2020, he continued to serve the public as the Statewide Traffic Incident Management Coordinator for the Texas Department of Transportation. Born in California, Sean was one of five children. He developed a strong interest in law enforcement early on, inspired by his father, who also served in the field. At 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, gaining valuable leadership experience and a solid work ethic that would carry him through his law enforcement career. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Excelsior College, where he graduated with honors. He also earned a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University.
